For the 2020 Democratic National Convention, we created a powerful short film featuring former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, a survivor of gun violence and a tireless advocate for change. With narration by Regina King, the video needed to highlight Gabby’s resilience, the mission of her non-profit GIFFORDS, and the urgent fight to end gun violence in America—all while delivering an emotional, unforgettable message to a national audience.

We crafted a deeply moving narrative by capturing Gabby Giffords playing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" on the French horn—a symbol of both her past and her remarkable recovery. Through archival footage and intimate new visuals, we highlighted her journey from tragedy to resilience, showing not only how far she’s come but also the challenges she continues to overcome in order to speak out and lead the fight against gun violence.

The piece garnered widespread acclaim, prompting responses from prominent figures such as Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as numerous media outlets. Its powerful message resonated deeply, amplifying the mission of the GIFFORDS organization and highlighting the urgent need to address gun violence in America.
